At Smiff's Remodeling, we know that communication is key.  That's why we are in constant communication throughout the whole process.  From phone calls, text and email, we also have a project manager on site, and a dedicated manager off site.  This helps keep the project on track.  If you ever have any questions about your project, feel free to give us a call.

Yes, we are insured, and we can provide proof of our insurance for any consumer that wished to review the documentation.

Before your project begins, we'll ensure that there is proper dust protection put down in the non- working areas and paths to the construction zone.  This will make sure the non-working areas are kept clean.  We also section off the construction area so that dust doesn't fly around the house.  During the project, we will keep in close communication with you throughout the renovation.  Once the project is over, we will stay until everything has been cleaned up and perform a final walkthrough with you to make sure you are completely satisfied with our work.

Maintaining good communication with the contractor throughout the project is critical. Your contractor will keep you apprised of the timeline throughout, but it's also important to tell your contractor about your budget at the outset. Being honest and upfront about your needs, time constraints and budget constraints will help keep your project on task.  When it comes to controlling the price of your renovation, it's also helpful to understand the kind of factors that influence the cost of your renovation. Location, materials cost, and timing all can affect the price of your remodel. If you're concerned about controlling these costs, discuss this with your contractor at the beginning of your project. Your contractor can make suggestions that will help you lower costs and work within your budget.

This depends on the size and amount of work to be performed.  A small bathroom can take 3 to 4 weeks due to space constraints.  A medium sized kitchen can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.  This also depends on the scope of work and if we run into any issues during the renovation process.  We would communicate this with you throughout your project.

Of course, your specific remodeling costs will depend on the level of remodeling, the features you choose, and the size of your space.  Also due to rising material cost, this also plays a factor as well.  We will help you meet your budget as much as possible.

Yes! We offer a free consultation with a designer.  The designer would talk to you about your space and what your ideas you have.  She would then design a 3D 20/20 design and send it to you via email or text. You can make one change to the design for free.  Any other changes would be subject to a designer fee.
